A father and son use the power of song to get through Alzheimer's
Teddy Mac was a professional singer for his entire adult life. At age 80 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and he started to decline and become withdrawn.
His son noticed that he came back to life when music was playing and he was singing along so the son recorded it and turned it into a social media phenomenon. The pair were able to create and sell albums and raise funds for charity.
Teddy’s condition has continued to decline but he is still at home being cared for by those he loves.
